EK MOHAN HI RAMATÁ HAE,
ÁNKHIYÁ TUMHI KO CÁHATI HAEAN, 2

DHENU CALE TUMHÁRI KHOJA MEAN,

KOYEL ROYE KHONE KI LÁJA MEN,

ÁNKHIYÁ TUMHI KO CÁHATI HAEN, 2

O Lord, my eyes always want and search you.
They are thirsty to get You.

In the forests of Vrnda'van,
within the minds of Vraj-dwellers,
in the dark water of Yamuna',
only one enchanting Mohan resides.

The cows wander to search you,
the flute calls expecting you;
the cuckoo cries shamefully,
there is darkness without moon.

Meaning: Vrindavan, the heavenly abode of Lord Krishna is a domain of divinity. Vrindavan is considered the jewel of the Brijbhumi as the Lord Krishna left an indelible impression of childhood days there. The city of the lord reverberates with religious fervour. The sacred river Yamuna highlights its charm, flowing with the philosophy of life as preached by the Lord himself.
